Our school is situated in a small town (7000 inhabitants) about 40 km away from Linz in Upper Austria. It is a secondary school with 218 pupils (at the age of 10 to 15 years) and 30 teachers. There are classes from 20 to 26 pupils. Currently eight music classes and two integration classes are conducted at our school.
A "music class" is a class especially for pupils who want to have more music lessons than in normal schools and who want to learn a musical instrument at school. Therefore our pupils come to us from the whole district of Freistadt.
Pupils with special needs are integrated in the two "integration classes" with two teachers for most of the time. Pupils with special needs are sometimes outside of classes but also in addition to classes.  Currently there are 10 Pupils with special needs.
Our pupils come from different social backgrounds and nationalities (18 pupils with Turkish as their mother tongue) but they are fully integrated.
